Java Neo features a redesigned frame to fit this purpose; it is unlike any of Brompton's clones that you see on the market. The rear triangle now pivots around the crank base as compared to the clones, which pivot using a thin rod. Due to Carbon and aluminium's unique structure, the stress point of the bike has to be redesigned to stay durable and functional after prolonged usage. The redesigned body also means that folding is not compromised, as seen in many Brompton clones, which you will need additional tensioners when using roadbike derailleurs.
